Key Responsibilities
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, cutting, and organizing ingredients
- Help in maintaining cleanliness of kitchen, dining area, utensils, and equipment
- Support serving staff during peak hours by arranging tables, clearing plates, and assisting with orders
- Handle dishwashing and waste disposal as per hygiene standards
- Ensure proper storage of food items and kitchen supplies
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness guidelines at all times
- Assist with opening and closing duties of the restaurant
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by the supervisor or restaurant manager
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of kitchen work or restaurant operations (preferred)
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Ability to work in a team and handle physical work
- Good time management and discipline
- Knowledge of hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Ability to communicate in Malayalam (basic English is an advantage)
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service role
