Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Handle guest inquiries, reservations, cancellations, and room allocations
- Manage front desk operations, phone calls, and walk-in guests
- Maintain accurate guest records and booking details
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness
- Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and escalate when required
- Process payments, issue invoices, and manage cash or digital transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Follow hotel policies, safety standards, and customer service guidelines
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: Plus Two / Diploma / Degree (preferred)
- Good communication skills in Malayalam and English
- Pleasant personality with a customer-friendly attitude
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office / hotel management software is an advantage)
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Professional appearance and good interpersonal skills
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience as a receptionist or front office staff
- Freshers with good communication skills may also apply
