Key Responsibilities
- Visit customer or client locations to install, inspect, maintain, and repair equipment or systems
- Perform routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs as required
- Diagnose technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards, technical guidelines, and company policies
- Maintain accurate service reports, job logs, and maintenance records
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding service details, issues, and solutions
- Coordinate with the technical support team and supervisors for complex issues
- Ensure proper handling and care of tools, equipment, and spare parts
- Travel within Kollam and nearby areas as per job requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / Technical Certification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Networking, or related field
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of technical equipment and tools
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and instructions
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to work in field conditions and travel locally
- Basic computer or mobile app usage for reporting and communication
- Good communication skills in Malayalam (English is an added advantage)
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience as a Field Technician or similar role
- Freshers with relevant technical training may also apply
